Call me mercenary, but my favorite part of this season is the gifts. Mostly I enjoy coming up with fabulous ideas for those I care about. My baby boy was the difficult one this year. I had Christmas pj's, slippers, a Bookworm bookmark for his Bible (his Christmas gift last year), and some toddler appropriate treats for his stocking. So what to do for the one gift to correspond with his one year of age. What could possibly be important enough to be his one gift. I couldn't do clothes (at this age they last about a week), and just some generic toy (there are too many in his toy box already), but finally an idea occurred to me. My old rocking horse was intended for William anyway, a few alteration and BINGO!!! The perfect meaningful gift for my adorable little boy.
